All up-to-date Porthos information in one place

Porthos is introducing the Porthos ConstructionApp: an application for smartphone and tablet that quickly provides all kinds of up-to-date information about the project and the work at that moment. It is the answer to the need of stakeholders and interested parties to know what is happening when in the project and what impact it will have for them.

The realisation of the Porthos project is in full swing. Currently, our contractors are at work at more than 10 locations along the route. For example, some 30 kilometres of land pipeline from the Oude Maas to the Maasvlakte is being constructed and several buildings of the compressor station complex are under construction at the Maasvlakte.

‘We want to give residents and employees in or near the port area the opportunity to follow the Porthos project closely,‘ says Esther Tibben, one of Porthos’ three environment managers. ‘We think it is important to inform all stakeholders clearly and in good time about works that might affect the traffic situation. Think of announcements of road closures, diversions or other things that could cause inconvenience. With the BouwApp, everyone can follow the project closely and subscribe to project updates if desired. In addition, the app offers the opportunity to ask us questions about project progress.’

Besides up-to-date information on works, we also offer background information via the BouwApp which gives a clearer picture of the scope and expertise required to realise the Porthos project. In the BouwApp, visitors themselves can indicate which areas or works are relevant. If desired, they can receive push notifications about this.

The BuildingApp is easy to download via the App Store or Google Play. The QR code below refers to the appropriate application.
